General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query.Xarelto is rivaroxaban which is an anticoagulant given as prophylactic for venous thromboembolism. It is not an antibiotic and doesn't cause yeast infection.Antibiotics cause yeast growth by destroying normal bacterial flora. You can take probiotics to prevent this. You can use clotrimazole cream for local application also for yeast infections.Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
