Is A PTA Scan Essential For Confirming Prostate Cancer?
Hi,My father have prostate cancer and now its spreading to bones. His treatment for this is in Kanpur.I want to know that PTA Scan is required now or not?in Knapur is saying that we know that its spread in bones so not much required.He is having pain in their legs not constantly but sometimes.

If you are talking about a PET scan , No it is not required.
Instead a Bone scan can give information on the extent of disease spread in the bones. and treatment can be planned accordingly.
