i had a white bump on my arm the size of a cous cous and the dermatologist sent it out for testing and came back fine. But when they scraped it off, there was a small black core in the direct center of it. Since then, the core has become a little bigger and darker. Concerning?
Hi! Good evening. I am Dr Shareef answering your query. Even if the lesion could be benign, I would advise you to get it clinically assessed by a general surgeon in your area, and get it biopsied if advised to have a definitive diagnosis. Further management would depend on the reports of the investigation.
I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.
Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. I wish you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
