Is A Black Core In The Arm Lump Of Concern?

i had a white bump on my arm the size of a cous cous and the dermatologist sent it out for testing and came back fine. But when they scraped it off, there was a small black core in the direct center of it. Since then, the core has become a little bigger and darker. Concerning?
