Hello, I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Though you had protected intercourse, the preejaculate is sufficient to cause conception during the fertile period. Since the intercourse took place during the fertile period, chances of conception are high. The scanty bleeding she had at the time of the expected period could be an implantation bleed. Pregnancy can be confirmed/excluded by performing a HPT with a fresh early morning sample of urine. Alternatively, blood test may be performed for better clarification. Further management can be planned accordingly. Hope this helps.
