Is A Home Pregnancy Test Result Usually Correct?

hi, my name is Sadhna. i have missed my period this month. last period date was i guess 04th november 2010. i have done a test at home and it is positive. please help me should i trust that report that i got from the test that i did at home. and now wht medicines should i take.

Hello dear
I understand your concern
Home pregnancy detect 95-96 % pregnancy after 8-10 days after delayed period.
But some time due to incorrect use and expired kit give false negative result.
As you missed the period and if you did test after 1 week then pregnancy is confirmed.
But it should be correlated with the blood HCG test
Yo do not mention for what you want medication.
If you want to terminate the pregnancy then intrauterine pregnancy is terminated by the mifepristone + misoprostol under the advise of gynecologist.
