Is A Large Thick Walled Anechoic Lesion In Right Adnexa Along With An Ovarian Cyst A Serious Concern?
A large thick walled anechoic lesion measuring 7. 8 x 7. 0 x 7. 0 cm (volume 203 cc) is noted in right adnexa not seen separate from right ovary -most likely an ovarian cyst. Left ovary appears bulky in size, measures 4. 4 x 3. 6 x 2. 7 cm (volume 23. 3 cc) and shows simple cyst of size 2. 4 x 2. 1 cm. Mild to moderate free fluid is noted in the pouch of Douglas. Excessive bowel gases.
First of all, get done CA 125 test to rule out complex cysts. The cyst has to be removed by laparoscopy and should be sent to the histopathological examination.
