Is A Missed Period With Tiredness And Leg Aches Due To Pregnancy?
Hi I have a query regarding my pregnancy. I am 29 yrs old and trying to get pregnant from last 2 months. I faced unusual symptoms last month, however my pregnancy test was negative. This month I missed my periods for almost 2 weeks & I face no unusual symptoms except for leg aches & feel tiredness. Am not sure if I will be pregnant now.
Many of the symptoms we commonly associate with pregnancy like bloating, fatigue, breasts tenderness, nausea and spotting can also be caused by hormonal irregularities that can make you miss your period. In addition, the stress of worrying about pregnancy can even make your cycle irregular.
For that reason, the only way to know for sure if your symptoms are due to pregnancy is by performing a urine pregnancy test.
If your cycles continue to be irregular, and you do not conceive within 6 months, it would be a good idea to see a GYN or fertility doctor to do some tests of your hormones and they may be able to recommend some medication or treatment to help you get pregnant.
I hope I was able to answer your question today and that my advice was helpful.
Best wishes,
Dr. Brown
