Is A Negative HIV TRI-DOT Test Report After Exposure Conclusive?
Doctor, I have no exposure to HIV. No sexual contact, no injections, no blood transfusions. But my body symptoms scares me.I got tested negative on tridot antibody test. Plzzz clear my doubt. Am I too anxious. First small bilster beside lip. Two weeks after that sore throat. Two weeks after that neck pain I believe it is swollen lymph node.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Without prior sexual contact or any needle stick exposure, or no blood transfusion, HIV transmission is unlikely or nil. With no risk or exposure, Tridot test is enough.
It showed negative result, so no need to worry. Your infection might be some flu and not related to HIV. So, be happy.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Siddartha
