Hallow Dear,

Missing a period is a characteristic of pregnancy; however during early pregnancy, some women do get spotting to little scanty bleeding at the time of days of expected menses. You had scanty bleeding only for 2 days at the time your expected menses. So the possibility of pregnancy in your case has to be considered. Moreover you are getting nausea also.

If your menses are already delayed for 5-6 days, you may perform pregnancy test on overnight first morning urine sample; earlier this test may report false negative results. Alternatively, you may opt for Beta hCG test. Pregnancy is diagnosed by vales more than 25 mIU/ml while they are under 5 mIU/ml in non-pregnant state.

I hope this serves the purpose.
