Is A Swollen And Painful Lump In Arm After Injecting Drugs Due To A Blown Vein?
I shot up about 3 days ago. I had no problems but a tiny lump under the skin of my forearm on the left arm. I have noticed it has gotten bigger over the past two days. I ve read online about abscesses and I am scared. it is swollen and slightly painful but no color to it at all or any pus that i can see. I did really hot compresses on it today bc that s one thing i read online. The compresses seemed to make the lump hurt a little more than before ab 10min after. there are no holes or any color and it s been ab 4~5 days I just really need to know if it is a blown vein or what it is and if it will go away and what I could do to help it
Hi Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe it appears to be the lymph gland, or a boil which may lead to an abscess. I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. Conservative treatment may be enough for recovery, if it is very big may need incision and drainage. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts and protein rich food, for quick recovery. Wising for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
