My sister had an ultrasound of her thyroid the other day. She came home with these results. Please help me interpret these to her. Isthmus is unremarkable Impression: NORMAL SIZED THYROID WITH DIFFUSE PARENCHYMAL CHANGES AND NODULE IN THE LEFT LOBE echo pattern with inhomogeneous parenchyma.
