Is A Topical Prescription Taken With Benadryl Sufficient For Tinea On My Eyelids?
I was diagnosed with tinea on my eyelids and was given a topical prescription. Ia have seen very little change in 7 days. My eyelids are irritated and picky and feel heavy. Is there something I can take like maybe benedryl to ease the discomfort? Is there something I can put on the skin too lessen the discomfort?
Hello It seems from the history that you are having tinea of the eyelids and you are on topical prescription for treatment of tinea. Benadry is a anti-histaminic and is useful in treatment of itching and other symptoms associated with tinea. Hence the treatment with benadryl along with topical lotion is sufficient for treatment of tinea.
Thank you
