Is A Weakly Proliferative Endometrium With Stromal Plasma Cells A Cause For Concern?
Hi doctor, just wondering what the results of my ultrasound mean. Measurements of uterus are 7.3x4.2x4.8 cm Endo thickness of .54 cm Also states increased vascularity, diffuse areas of hyperechogenicity, and endo biopsy negative but shows a weakly proliferative endometrium and stromal plasma cells.
Hello and welcome to HCM, The ultrasound of uterus is within normal limits. Presence of plasma cells in endometrium is suggestive of chronic inflammation in uterus. You need to consult your gynecologist for treatment.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
