Is Abscess The Reason For Swollen Nipples With Pus In Child?
My 10 month old son woke up this morning with a swollen nipple with feels like there is a hard not in it. I barely touched it and pus came out. It's not really hurting him. I took him to the er and they sad it was a abscess but they don't know a lot when it comes to babies and I was instructed to follow up with a pediatrician. Do you think it's an abscess?

Child has developed Mastitis.
Needs to be treated with antiinflammatory analgesic drugs along with complete course of antibiotic.
Mag sulf dressing and cleaning with povidone lotion.
These all measures will help in subsiding the problem in 4 to 5 days.
