Is Acupuncture For Colitis Effective?

I AM LOOKING FOR ACCUPUNCTURE & TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE CENTRE IN VAUGHAN, ONTARIO, CANADA. MY NIECE HAS COLITIES AND HAVE BEEN THROUGH SEVERAL CHANNELS AND THIS DISEASE IS CHRONIC AND IS DEPRIVING HER TO GO OUT. SHE IS ALSO VERY DEPRESSED AND IS HOME MOST OF THE TIME. IN ORDER TO ASSIST HER TRIED THE WEBSITES BUT NON SUITES HER STYLE.
SHE HAS PARENTS BUT NOW THEY ARE AT THE END OF THEIR ROPE, THEREFORE I AM TRYING TO ASSIST HER WHY ? BECAUSE I AM SEEING AN ACCUPUNCTURE & THE HERBS THEY HAVE PUT ME ON FEEL A LOT BETTER AS I AM SUFFERING FROM FIBROMYLAGIA & IS CHRONIC DISEASE BUT CAN SEE CHANGES IN MY BODY BECAUSE THEY STARTED WITH LOW DOSAGE AND WEEKLY THEY WISH TO SEE ME TO DIAGONISE. I ASKED THEM SINCE THEY ARE GIVING ME THESE HERBS HOW SHALL I KNOW THAT THEY ARE WORKING ON ME AND THEIR ANSWER WAS VERY SIMPLE. " P A I N" THE DOCTORS I AM SEEING ARE FATHER AND SON AND FATHER HAS 30 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE. I LIVE IN CALGARY, ALBERTA. I SHOULD NOT GO ON WITH MY STORY TELLING, BUT IT IS MY NIECE THAT I AM WORRIED ABOUT, PLEASE EMAIL ME BACK AS IT WILL BE HARD TO COMMUNICATE OVER THE PHONE. I HAVE NOT INFORMED HER PARENTS THAT I AM LOOKING FOR SOME ONE IN THEIR AREA AND WISH TO SURPRISE THEM. IF YOU CAN HELP ME FIND A HERB DOCTOR IT WILL BE A BONUS FOR HER, THEREFORE PLEASE HELP. I am so sorry to hear about this colitis that your niece has. For sure, acupuncture would not hep her with this. However, it can play a major psychological boost to her and elevate her morale to get out of her depression. However, acupuncture presents very little risk to the patient and I would not discourage you fro pursuing it not because of the direct benefits it has on the disease but because of the psychological advantages.
