Is Air Travel Safe For A Person Recovering From Eye Stroke?

Wife 65 year old recently treated for "eye stroke" venous return problem. As several times in past she had a "bloodshot" spot in left (the affected) eye tonight and is flying out of the country starting 5 AM tomorow. No visual disturbance, no sensation or discomfort, this has happened "many times" in her life. Any contraindication to her flying, being absent a week and flying back?
She has a "vision spot" which seems better now than when treatment began and is unchanged today.
