Is Alcohol Intake Advisable After A Valve Replacement?

I had a valve replacement a month ago. I have healed very well and am active again with some restrictions still. I enjoy a few drinks here n there of 80 percent whiskey n diet coke mixed together. Will this hurt me to have a few drinks over the course of the day?
