Is Alerid D Recommended For Cold During Pregnancy?

My wife has cough and cold since last one month. She is pregnant. the nose is blocked since then, it is not clearing at all unless Nasivion is used. What should we do ? She can not take food unless the nose is clear and we do not know how to go ahead as in preganncy there is need to be more careful. One of our familiy friend advised to take Alerid D.

ale rid can be used occasionally,u can try montelukast instead sir.. if it is long time infection a small course of mild antibiotics like mix may help
