Is Ambien The Cause Of Prickly Feeling On Skin Including Scalp, Legs And Arms?
for the past few weeks I have been feeling a prickly feeling on my skin like tiny needles. I take ambien at night for sleep an am wondering if it is the medication. It is mostly on my front torso, arms legs and scalp, but sometimes on my legs too. It seems to be worse in the evening and night.
The symptoms you described suggests miliaria..also called prickly heat. It may be due to hot enviormental tempreture. You should stay in cool humid area like A C room. Take vitamin C tab 500 mg thrice a day. Take antihistaminics like levocetirizine. If needed antibiotics like azithromycine may be taken. Sprinkle clotrimazole powder on affected area. Take bath with dettol conaining water. Apply soothing lotion containing calamine with aloe vera. You may become alright after few weeks. I hope you got my answer.
Thanks.
