Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have heard a lot about ammonia being mixed with bleach as becoming deadly. How much does it take for it to become deadly? How long does a normal healthy person inhale the mixture before he/she can die of it? these are common household things and yet, can they really be deadly? if a person really dies from it, will it be detected in the body also? i hope i can learn more from your answers. thank you doctor.

hello.. thanks a lot for your query on HCM, ammonia is not a good gas.. its mixture with others has detrimental effects on health.. larger doses causes problems... duration of exposure depends on the concentration of the ammonia... its concentration in larger doses poses problems... ammonia can be detected through dead body also...
