Is Anti Rabies Injection Mandatory After A Minor Dog Scratch?

Dear Sir, My daugher 3 and half years old. get nail scratch by society / building dog (Not having any rabis) on sunday (5th Aug). At the time of scratch by dog s nails she got bleeding. Do there is any need to take antirabish injections? It is more than three days now. What should i do ? Kindly suggest immidiately.

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Irrespective of the fact whether it is a household dog or stray dog, once there is bleeding she needs to take Rabipur shots on day 0(day of starting ),3rd and 7th day.
If the dog is found to be alright you need not give further shots, oterwise 2 more shots on day 14th and day 30th are needed.
