Is Antibiotic Needed For Cold That Lasted For 10 Days?
i m having cold and sore throat for the past 10 days and i m taking dolopar 2 tablets a day and also gargle with warm salt water whenever i have throat irritation and pain. also have a lot of phelgem. Should I start taking any antibiotics since its 10 days and the cold is still there.

I really appreciate your concern no need to take any antibiotic in the symptoms of soar throat and pain this is the self limiting phenomenon and does not need any antibiotic this would come around with the general care and symptomatic medicines and that includes "Tab Levocetrizine 10 mg three times in day" Tab Acetaminophen three times in day" no matter if this could take even few more days to come around, hope this information helps you have nice day.
