I have been experiencing abdominal pain for the last 36 hours, diarrhoea and bleeding when i pass motions, I take asprin 75mg daily for angina which i thought may be causing the blood which y'day was bright red. Ihave just had cramps and bowel movement again and there was quite a bit of blood in the toilet and when i wiped myself only slightly darker red and with what lookes like blood clotting .When i flushed the toilet there is a large reddy stain in the base of loo which looks like a blood ring .What should i do please?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
The blood stain stool is very less likely because of aspirin still if you have strong doubt then you can stop taking the aspirin, till your symptoms of blood stain stool get well, but I would advise you that still you will have to treat the stool problem according to me this could be the intestinal infection and the protozoal infection is likely, take Metronidazole 400 mg twice day for 7 days along with this "Omeprazole 40 mg twice day has to be taken this will subside the problem of bleeding, have nice day.
