General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
In my view the cause of raised eosinophils needs to be treated first. Allergies of different origin, worm infestations, skin exematous lesions. Allergy screening test or stool examination can help. Treatment of cause for sufficient days, courses of specific medication for eosinophilia and slow tapering down of steroids would be helpful. Improvement of bone health can be done with good nutrition (proteins, vitamins and minerals containing) with specific medication prescribed by orthopedic doctor. Regular physical work outs and exercises stimulate bone health.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
