Is Benicar Safe For High Blood Pressure?
high blood pressure I m a 46 yo female 5 4 & weigh 110 lbs. I have never weighed over 115. My mother has high blood pressure (after age 35) my mother s sister (after age 40), and all of my grandparents. I eat healthy. low sodium, walk daily, & try to do everything right to keep it down but it won t stay down w/o medication. I currently take Benicare. Any tips?

Benicar contains olmesartan that belongs to the group of antihypertensive medications known as angiotensin receptor blockers or ARBs is used in the treatment of hypertension and in the prevention of strokes, heart attacks, kidney problems etc., by lowering blood pressure. It is a safe and effective medication for controlling high blood pressure.
Consumers of Benicar may notice improvements in their blood pressure within two weeks of starting this medication. But like any other medication this medication has some side effects of its own. If someone experiences any side effect when taking this medication or this medication becomes failed to control his or her blood pressure, then he or she should consult the prescribing doctor immediately.
