Is Black Colored Spot On Cornea Of Eye A Cause For Concern?
There is a black colored spot on cornea of my son`s right eye. Looks like it is on the surface of the cornea but it is not free-floating and remains in the same place as it has been there for days. Does not bother him, obviously does not hurt. No redness. Should we be concerned?
Hello It seems from the history that your son is having a black spot on cornea. I think it is inside cornea on the iris as cornea is a clear structure and iris can be seen through it. This can be a nevus of iris. This requires only observation and treatment is not required if it is not spreading or causing symptoms like pain.... Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
