Is Black Vomiting In Children Normal?

My son just vomitted black vomit about an hour ago. Is that ok?
He is 2 yrs and 9 months. He was outside in the sun yesterday for a few hours so could it be sunstroke. He was not well last night either. He keeps going to vomit and nothing had been coming up until before.

Thanks for the query.
Sometimes, a "black vomit" might be completely harmless, as it could result from nosebleed.
Some warning conditions are- tumor in the lining of the esophagus (both malignant and benign), tumor in the stomach (benign and malignant), kidney disease, a tear in the blood vessel, liver cirrhosis.
Hope i helped you.
