Hello dear
Understand your concern
Bleeding week after abortion is not normal. Normally bleeding will stop after 4-6 days as abortion process is complete. It may be due to incomplete abortion or vaginal/pelvic infections. You should consult the gynecologist and need pelvic examination and USG scan to confirm the above causes.
Retain product should be treated by misoprostol or surgical process like D & C. Infections is treated by antibiotics like cefixime. proper rest, healthy diet with iron supplements, analgesic should be advisable.
Use safe sex practice to avoid unwanted pregnancies in future
Hope this may help you
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
