Is Blood Clot Coming Out Normal After Having Indwelling Catheter?

I had a RA TLH on 7/18. During thr surgery my bladder was punctured so I was sent home with an indwelling catheter. Tonight I noticed blood clots coming out. Is this normal? I go to urologist in 10 days to see if it is healed or if more surgery is needed.

Dear; Thanks for using our service, a blood clot can come after the inwelling catheter placement . It is advisable to drink plenty of water to help to clear that. However, if you persist with clots , you need to have an urologist to take care of it, including a bladder flush with water to avoid any catheter obstruction by the clots. If you drink water and it clears ,then it was just postraumatic and you can wait 10 days to see the urologist.
