Is Brain Dead Possible During Open Heart Surgery ?
Hi, My 18 years old son is died.Because doctors caused brain dead during heart surgery .He had extra muscle in his heart.while removing that muscle doctors made brain dead to him. I just want to know 1."Is brain dead possibl while doing open heart surgery?" 2.what are possiblities for brain dead duing heart operation? Kindly answer my questions to know how my son could have died ?

Brain death from a open surgery, that sounds highly unlikely. Was your son an organ donor?
hi, i am really sorry for the tragedy. but i was unable to understand, brain dead means he went for coma. in any operation doctors won't make brain dead, it may happen unfortunately during operation as a complication
