I'm TTC. I had ovulation pain and my luteral phase is 16 days. I had some breast tenderness and should have started my period yesterday. My breast tenderness went away and still no period. Could I be pregnant? With my first my breasts were really sore.
Thank you for the question and thank you for visiting our site.
Counting the first day of your period as day#1, most women ovulate right around day#14. At the time of ovulation, it is common to experience some midcycle pain / cramping and a change in the consistency of cervical mucous. It sounds like you are well aware of these symptoms. Also, a pregnancy test will turn positive about two weeks after conception, so you could check now but it might be slightly early to test. Breast tenderness, whether present or not, is a poor indicator of whether or not you are pregnant. The fact that your period is late is more intriguing, and you should check a test now and again in the next few days.
I hope that this helps and good luck!
