Is Brown Discharge After Positive UPT Sign Of Miscarriage?
Hi I had an abortion on the 26th of August, I was bleeding for days post abortion! now testing positive in a pregnancy test. I had brown discharge light in colour over four days from the 28 of August now heavier and darker the last two days! Am I miscarriaging, is something wrong or I don t no if this is normal
You may have implantation bleeding after positive UPT but this is light pink or brown spotting. It should not continue for a longer time. If bleeding is continuous, it may be due to cervical bleeding or polyp in the cervix. Avoid deep penetrative intercourse after you have a positive pregnancy test. It can cause you to bleed.
Get clinically examined by a Gynae, to rule out cervical polyp, placenta previa, ectopic pregnancy or early miscarriage. Avoid doing any heavy work, stay at rest. Your treatment and management will depend on the factor that is causing you the discharge.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
