Is Brownish Discharge And Internal Swelling After Intercourse Normal?
hi i recently had sexual intercourse and i’ve noticed the morning of until now (3 days already) that i have brownish discharge after peeing when i wipe and feel swollen inside, i was unsure wether this is normal or not as this has never happened to me before
Brownish discharge and internal swelling after intercourse are not always normal. Friction during sex (especially if rough or with inadequate lubrication) can cause slight bleeding, leading to brownish discharge. Swelling could be due to increased blood flow to the area during intercourse. Inflammation of the cervix (cervicitis) can cause post-sex bleeding and brown discharge.
Stay at rest and allow yourself to heal. Avoid sex and any type of sexual activity till you heal. Other causes of brown discharge are hormonal fluctuations or implantation bleeding. Get yourself clinically examined by a gynecologist. If you had unprotected sex, get STD tests done to stay on the safer side.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
