Is Bumps Like Spiderbites On Neck A Cause Of Concern?
At first I got one bump on my neck a couple days ago and now it s beginning to look like a spiderbite after I go that I got what I thought was a mosquito bite on my side but it began to look more like a spider bite too. More and more little dots keep appearing and I just got four new ones about thirty minutes ago. Should I be worried or will these things go away with time
Hi. As per your case history you are having insect bite dermatitis. My treatment advice is - 1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic plus steroid cream like fusiderm-b cream twice daily on it. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days. 4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
