Is Burning, Pain In The Chest Side Effect Of Taking 15 Crocin Tabs Within 2 Hrs?

Hey doc.. I have comsumed 15 crocin advance tablets betwn 2-4am. For muscular pain..but i read about the toxicity i am regular user of crocin...And day before i have took 6... Right now i am nt having ny symptoms but having little pain in chest,nd burning,bad taste in throat... M i okay ?? Or will be there any side effects on me ...???

Hi. Welcome to HCM. Maximum dialy dose of crocin (paracetamol) for healthy adults is 4 grams. Higher doses lead to increasing risk of toxicity. The signs and symptoms of paracetamol toxicity occur in three phases. The first phase begins within hours of overdose, and consists of nausea, vomiting, pallor, and sweating. Many times no signs of toxicity occurs till 24 hours after high dose. second phase occurs between 24 and 72 hours following overdose and consists of signs of increasing liver damage. The third phase follows at 3 to 5 days, and is marked by complications of massive hepatic necrosis leading to fulminant hepatic failure with other complications. U have taken 15 crocin tabs means almost 7.5 gm of paracetamol which is toxic. I strongly advice u to consult your doctor immediately for proper treatment. Regards
