Is C Section Genetic ?

I am a 45 year old woman. I was recently diagnosed with hypoplastic uterus. I had my first daughter as a teenager. I was told then that I had a small pelvic. 9 years later...I had to go through the fertility clinic because I had trouble getting pregnant. 1 year later I was pregnant with my 2nd daughter. Both pregnancies were by c-section. Should my daughter be checked for this condition also?

Hello,

In cases where the height of the mother is short (like 4.8 to 5 feet), the chances of Caesarian sections are more because of a contracted pelvis. Otherwise, no gene is responsible for a Caesarian section. Big baby, cord around neck, placenta previa, short stature, high risk pregnancy, pre mature rupture of membranes are some of important causes, there are many things to be considered while a doctor plans for a Caesarian section.
