Is Cardiac Analysis Necessary After A Colonoscopy?

Hi I have surgery for a polyp on my colon which was in an awkward spot a large one on the right side I had a colonoscopy done on sept 8 and they were all benied but I am very confused why I need to go for lab work and check my heart Is this normal procedure I am feeling scared.
