Is Cauterize Therapy Safest Treatment For Injured Vocal Cords?

From last saturday, once in a day i cough a blood.I checked with my ent doctor.he said there is an acute injury just below the vocal cords.it may heal by medication or else i ll have to go through cauterize therapy.I have done all the tests including chest xay and blood reports and all are normal.can anyone suggest me whether the current treatment is right?do you suggest other treatment?is this a serious disease?

This is correct.

It is possible that the injury may heal by the use of medication only but if this does not occur then you may need other form of intervention.

The investigations would have been able to determine if there were any other underlying problems.
