Is Chest Pain With Numb Arms While BP Being 136/78 Concerning?
my boyfriend is a black male. he has been having chest pains and numbness in his arms. his blood pressure is 136 over 78. he is under a lot of stress but is otherwise very healthy. his doctors doesn't seem to be too concerned but I think he should get more tests done.

chest discomfort can be due to variety of reasons, like heart related , lung related , gerd etc.
you need to consult a cardiologist who can request for a chest xray and ecg to rule out any disease if present.
in my opinion it seems like you friend is suffering from anxiety
after cardio workup is done and is normal the next step will be counselling with a psychiatrist
