Is Chiretta Herb Extracts Intake Safe When Taken Regularly?
I am having chirayta daily from the last on week. I soak it in a glass of water overnight and lukewarm it before having it around 5 a.m . Not any health related issues i just take it as i love the taste of it. Please let me know about any side effects, especially if i consume it daily for a long time.
Dear Thanks for contacting with your health concern
1. As chirayta is bitter in taste thus is useful in conditions like fever, constipation, upset stomach, loss of appetite, intestinal worms, skin diseases and is used as a " bitter tonic"
2. Do not use chirayta if one is pregnant or breast feeding or has intestinal ulcer.
3. The appropriate dosage of the herb for use as treatment depends on several factors like user's age, health and several other conditions. Keep in mind that natural products are not always necessarily safe and dosage can be important, so consult your pharmacist/Physician or other health care professional before using/ continuing
