Is Clarified Butter Consumption Recommendable During Loose Motion?
Is it ok to take ghee during loose motions along with rice and boiled potatoes?? i heard it was bad but then i read here WWW.WWWW.WW ..... Also what other precautions and diet should i mantain to cure this loose motion i m sufferring from??
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history and understood the concerns. If you have loose motions you should follow the protocol: Get teh stool tested as well as blood and urine. Ultrasound of the whole abdomen. Get a proper antibiotic cover active against intestinal infection if there is an evidence of an infection. Get added on with Metronidazole if required. PPI like Omeprazole, activated charcoal and probiotics. Boiled and cooled water. Home-made fresh foods only. Ghee can cause more loose motions hence better avoided. You can take curds and rice.
