Is Cold Sensation In The Right Foot A Symptom Of Raynaud’s Syndrome?
My 70 yr old husband has primary progressive MS, and is on Ocrevus. The weather has turned cold and windy here is southern CA. He has recently experienced coldness in his right foot, but not the left. Web Md says this may be developing Reynauds Syndrome. What are the risks? My husband also doesn t like to wear socks or shoes in the house.
Hello, This does not sound like Raynaud's. Raynaud's usually shows up in both hands not in one foot. He needs an evaluation of blood flow to that foot. An ankle/brachial index test would be a good place to start. It could also be due to his MS. Since he is having symptoms in his foot it would be very wise for him to start wearing socks and shoes daily to protect his feet. Regards
