Is Colorectal Cancer Transmittable?

I have a friend who had/has colo/re tal cancer. His markers were 3 for a while and has since had a 5 reading and now a 4. We are not intimate at this time but I was curious, and I know this sound ignorant, but can you pass it in some way to another? Saliva, sex, etc.
