Is Constipation A Side Effect Of Duphaston 10mg?
Hi i m 30yrs female. i got my iui done on 14th nov. i m taking duphaston 10mg twice daily, progynova 2mg twice daily, ecosprin-75 once, Evion LC and folG1 once. After iui my food intake is increased and i m having constipation. is it because of any of the tablets or is it normal? i underwent iui coz my husband has varicocele hence less motility.

Duphaston contains dydrotestosterone which is used to treat female infertility, various menstrual problems including painful or irregular periods, premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and endometriosis. It helps to restart periods that have stopped before the menopause and to prevent usually heavy period. Constipation or diarrhea and increasing appetite are the common side effects of Duphaston.
Other side effects are nausea, vomiting, headache, breast tenderness and enlargement, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, depression, mood swings, abdominal pain, indigestion, sleeping problems, cough, allergic reactions etc.
