Is Constipation Sign Of Colon Cancer?

Hi I am a 16 year old girl and I am scared to death I have colon cancer. I can sometimes feel the left side of my colon is smaller than the right, I have constipation problems and I often keep a laptop on my lap for hours somedays. Can you please help me?

Hi,

Noted the history about a 16 year old girl having fear of colon cancer, smaller left colon than right side, often keep laptop on lap for hours. Wants help. Your short history is suggestive that you have searched internet for some symptoms that you have not mentioned or read something about laptop problems one can have.

To clear the points, you are too young to have colon cancer. There are no incidences wherein laptop causing colon cancer not yet documented, hence not to worry about. You have constipation and hence the finding causes on internet must have raised such a concern. So stop worrying. Stop using laptop on lap for a longer time. Take care. Take laxative or stool softener to relieve constipation.
