Is Continued Sucking Fingers Be An Infant After Breastfeeding Normal?

hi...my kid is 2month old ....he keeps on feeding for hqlf an hour still seems to be hungry after that..but my milk flow is also ok...he starts suking his fingers n when i make him sleep he sleeps so i m not getting whether he feels hungry after feed or does that becoz of habit of suking?

Hello, babies typically will feed every 2-3 hours if the supply of breastmilk is normal. If you think he is still hungry try re-feeding him. He should then be burped by gently patting his back. His finger sucking may be a way he comforts himself and not related to hunger. Babies should sleep on their backs and he is due for his two month vaccines at this pediatrics office.
