Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for query.
Coughing especially in the morning in exposure to molds may be the initial presentation of asthma. Chest infection is obviously a possibility. I suggest you to go for sputum examination, total serum IgE, spirometry with bronchodialator reversibility and serum absolute eosinophil count to exclude the possibilities. Consult a pulmonologist soon and get yourself examined thoroughly.
Thank you.
Regards,
Dr Aarnab Maji
