Hallow Dear,
Missing a period after removal of Cu-T
contraceptive protection should always raise a suspicion of
pregnancy. Since your husband was using condom regularly, the chances of pregnancy are very low. However, sometime the burst condom goes unnoticed if not look for specifically. Such accident may result in pregnancy.
Please perform pregnancy test on overnight first morning urine sample a week after the missed period. Alternatively, you may opt for
Beta hCG test on the blood. If the test is negative, some progestational preparation like
Deviry for 5 days will get you withdrawal bleeding 4-7 days after discontinuing these pills. These pills should be taken only with a Gynaecologist's advice. If you are pregnant and you do not want to continue the pregnancy, please report to your Gynaecologist.
Removal of Cu-T per se is not responsible for delay in menses. So if simple measures do not start your menses in spite of no pregnancy, please report to your Gynaecologist.
I hope this provides you initial guidelines.
