hello doctor. i m on femilion for past 3 months. i usually get my periods within 2-3 days of finishing my course of tablets.but tis month its more then 3 days and i havent got my periods.we had unprotected sex .can i be pregnent?as i heard femilion is a contraceptive

Hi,
Femilon is indeed a combination contraceptive pill. If you have always been regular with your medication, you have very little chance of failure. Menstrual disturbances are a common side effect of the pills as they tend to disturb the normal hormonal milieu of the body. Pregnancy is a possibility if more than two pills have been missed in a row and no additional protection has been taken. Please wait for another couple of days before taking a home pregnancy test; else, you can get a blood test now to exclude/confirm pregnancy. Hope this helps.
