Is Diahrrea During Pregnancy A Matter Of Concern?

Im 30 weeks pregnant and for the past few weeks I have had diarreah every morning and I am rushing back and fore to the toilet 3or 4 times every morning and have cramping with it but then I m fine the rest of the day and don t have any bowel movement for the rest of the day. Should I be worried? Thanks Claire.

Any medical problem during pregnancy should be taken seriously & should be reported to your doctor.
Usually the cause of this type of diarrhea could be the intake of some specific iron preparations, which most women take. Changing the brand may help. Please don't stop taking any medicine without prior permission from your doctor & also have a stool DR test to exclude any infection.
